Good day,

I and many people with a processor Intel Atom Z3735 tablets have problems with the above drivers for Windows 10. For example, my sound driver "stopped" working (you must this test in real life on real HW/speakers) after upgrade to Windows 10 v.1511 (10586) on tablet GoClever Insignia 800 Win (16GB) and others no name tablets. Resolves to someone this problem? It would also be good to create a category for problems with audio drivers on this community. Thank you in advance for your answer. (Sorry, my english is not good)

Best regards

Marek Bujko

I managed to fix this on my insignia ns15ms08 tablet,

I found a copy of earlier drivers on my Asus x205ta laptop that had just been upgraded to 1511/10586.

Why it installed a different version of drivers I don't know, as they both use exactly the same atom baytrail cpu.

Under intel sst audio device (wdm), the file C:\windows\system32\drivers\isstrtc.sys, I copied in version 6.3.9600.17038

and under Realtek I2S Audio codec, the driver file c:\windows\system32\drivers\rtii2sac.sys, I copied in version 6.4.10041.4257.

You have to do this by booting to command prompt under recovery options. Copy the files to the root of C:\ first, as you

cannot see the microsd under command prompt boot.

Of course, you will need to try and find this version of the files, or is there somewhere on this intel forum to post them?

(I signed up just today to post this reply)

Cheers,

Mike.

Thank you, but GoClever send me other drivers. Now I have other problem. I connect headphones to 3,5 mm sound jack. Work speakers on tablet. After I disconnect 3,5 mm jack from tablet and tablet speakers are "off". How to invert? Speakers are default device. Uninstall driver and again install still wont work.

Hello @all,

Divxmaster, thank you for sharing your outcome.

MarekBujko, basically any drivers available for your tablet will be at the Insignia web page, http://www.insigniaproducts.com/products/computer-speakers-accessories/NS-15MS08.html Insignia™ - 8" Flex Tablet - Intel Atom - 16GB - Black | Insignia.

From our end we don't have this driver available, but you can try the following steps;

  • Select the Audio inputs and outputs n the device manager.
  • Right click on it and select Update Driver Software.
  • Click Browse my computer for driver software.
  • Click let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer and see if you can choose one of the drivers that usually appear there.

If it does not work follows these steps;

  • Select the Audio inputs and outputs in the device manager.
  • Right click on it and select properties.
  • Click details.
  • Click the drop down and select hardware ids, you will see under the values, one or more than one option, copy the first one and paste it in Google, like that you might be able to find the driver.

I hope this can help you, other than that you will need to contact the manufacturer for support.

Regards,

Amy.

GoClever Insignia is not tablet company/brand Insignia.

I have drivers by GoClever Support (still wont exist Windows 10 TH2 (v1511 10586) new Audio driver for GoClever Insignia 800 Win by Intel) and working Audio driver is for tablet GoClever Insignia 1010 Bussines because other Intel driver wont work for me on Windows 10 TH2. I try upgrade from Win 10 10240 to TH2 v1511 10586 and now clean install Windows 10 TH2 (v1511 10586) from USB on tablet. After I install drivers + Windows Updates. Audio driver work only with headphones in 3.5 mm jack. Headphones wont work, work only tablet speakers. I this problem also report on support for Windows Insiders and Microsoft Support. Microsoft recommend contact Intel support.

I don't have this problem with the version of drivers I am using now, speakers work fine, plug in headphones and the headphones work, unplug headphones and

speakers work again.

Perhaps you could try the version of drivers I am using?

Cheers,

Mike.

I try Intel SST audio device (wdm) 6.3.9600.14xxx (because I can not find 6.3.9600.17038) and Realtek I2S Audio codec 6.4.10041.4257 today. Next I install sound driver by GoClever Intel SST audio device (wdm) (603.9600.53972 / 603.9600.1948.53972) and Realtek I2S Audio codec (603.9600.53972 / 603.9600.1948.53972). After I tried to install a clean install OS Win 10 TH2, because I thought that the problem is in system, but it is not.

Have you tried contacting your tablet manufacturer about this issue?

Unfortunately from our end there are no drivers available for your product since these are provided by the computer manufacturer.

Regards.

Yes, I contacted GoClever. I wrote up that I have driver from GoClever Support, but they give me only driver for GoClever Insignia 1010 Bussines because someone else does not want work on GoClever Insignia 800 Win with Windows 10 v.1511 10586, but this audio driver have problem with 3.5 mm jack yet. If are headphones connected to 3.5 mm jack (wont work headphones), tablet speaker works. If I disconnect 3.5 mm jack, tablet speakers are off.

Other drivers (except front camera) work without problems.

Hi, i have tablet colorovo supreme tab 8 and the same problem with audio after update to win10. I try to install drivers from win8 and no succes. I got the idea to install the audio drivers from the Lenovo Tablet dedicated to the processor atom z3735 and surprisingly works.

I have been trying to fix my audio issue on my HP Omni 10 tablet (intel atom processor) for over a month now. Ever since I upgraded to the latest version of Windows 10, I've had no sound. I had tried everything recommended solution from Windows, and Intel, and I even was on the phone with an HP support person for 3 hours as she tried everything, to no avail!

As I continued my online research, I came across this community and ShangX's post. His solution worked! He is a hero to me, as I had almost given up on ever having sound again. Thanks ShangX

ShangX,

I have one Micromax canvas Lapbook L1161 with atom z3735F. the windows 10 has been upgraded to v10.0 build 10240. my intel SST audio device & realtek I2S audio codec are of version 604.10154.1010.4947. now the problem is, before applying your solution only speaker driver was shown in playback device list but sound was not coming neither by speaker nor by audio jack. after applying your solution only speaker generates the sound but headphone still not working, actually I found that no headphone device is there in the playback device list, only speaker is showing. if I connect a headphone, still then only speaker generates sound.

I really don't know what to do know.

ShangX's method worked for me as well on my Acer Iconia W4-820. Thanks a lot, man. That was driving me crazy.

ShangX's solution also worked for me.

I had tried everything to no avail. As one last effort before resigning myself to using an external bluetooth speaker for the rest of my computer's life, I tried this method, and it magically restored my speakers to perfect working order. Thanks so much!
