Apple Watch Series 7, GPS, 41 mmThe Apple Watch Series 7 models are quite similar to the Apple Watch Series 6 that they replaced, but they have larger, more advanced displays; improved durability; and faster charging. Aluminum models unveil new color options and there are a variety of new watch bands, too.

This particular model, the Apple Watch Series 7 (Aluminum, GPS, 41 mm) does not have wireless cellular capability, but higher-end models in the series also are capable of being connected to the Internet without a "tethered" iPhone for some functionality. This "GPS" model is required to be connected to an iPhone 6s or later running iOS 15 or later.

All Apple Watch Series 7 devices are controlled with a Digital Crown with haptic feedback and a touch capable display. This particular Apple Watch Series 7, the GPS model in the 41 mm size, features a 352x430 "Always-On Retina" LTPO OLED screen with Ion-X glass packed in an aluminum case with a ceramic and sapphire crystal back that connects to the charger.

Battery life is an Apple estimated "up to 18 hours" overall, but more specifically "up to 1.5 hours" of talk time connected to an iPhone (or to LTE for LTE-capable models), "up to 11 hours" of audio playback from Apple Watch storage, "up to 11 hours" working out indoors and "up to 7 hours" working out outdoors with GPS.

There were five aluminum options offered by Apple Authorized Resellers -- Green with a "Clover" Sport Band (pictured, right), a warm gray "Starlight" with a "Starlight" Sport Band (pictured, left), "Midnight" with a "Midnight" Sport Band, Blue with an "Abyss" Blue Sport Band, and (PRODUCT) Red with a Red Sport Band. Numerous other body and watch band combinations were available from Apple via customization, as well.
