WhatsApp is making it easier to search for stickers
In this article we will see a new way to search for stickers. The feature will be released in a future update, but WABetaInfo, as always, will let you see a preview.

WhatsApp is developing a feature that allows to quickly search for stickers. The feature will analyze the first word typed in the chat bar and, if it matches any sticker saved in your sticker library, a suggestion will be shown.
As you can see in this screenshot, the sticker icon will look different when there is a suggestion. The user can tap that icon and he will see all suggestions found from WhatsApp.

This feature perfectly works for official WhatsApp sticker packs. Third party stickers created from apps like Sticker Maker aren’t compatible with this feature, but I’ve contacted the developer and he is currently working on a new update that will support this new feature, associating emojis with your stickers. We will announce on WABetaInfo when the feature is available.
The feature is under development and it will be available in a future update on WhatsApp for Android and iOS. Stay tuned for more announcements!
