Samsung is expected to launch the successor of last year’s Galaxy A53 5G – the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G in the coming weeks. Recently, the design renders of the upcoming A-series smartphones surfaced on the web. Now, we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G with the model number SM-A546E on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification website.

The certification listing confirms some of the specifications of the upcoming A-series smartphone. As per the documents, the Galaxy A54 5G will feature support for 25W fast charging. Let us take a closer look at the details.

The FCC listing reveals the model number of the battery, which is EB-BA546BY. This will be a 4905mAh rated capacity battery. The listing further reveals the model number of the adapter as well, which is EP-TA800. This is a 25W charging adapter, which supports 15W (5V/3A) and 25W (9V/2.77A) outputs through USB-PD protocol. The charger also supports PPS charging protocol with up to 25W output.

In terms of connectivity, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54 5G will feature support for Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, WLAN a/b/g/n/ac/ax, and NFC. This implies that the handset will support WiFi 6 connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G was earlier spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database which revealed the presence of an Exynos 1380 processor and 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 13 based OneUI out of the box. The handset is tipped to feature a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter. The upcoming Galaxy A54 5G has already been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standard certification, so an India launch is definitely on the cards.
