WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.21.3: what’s new?
WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.21.3.

In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.15.5 update, we posted news about avatars, a new way to be you on WhatsApp. In the same article, we explained that it will be possible to use an avatar as a mask during video calls in the very distant future and as a sticker in the nearer future. This feature is still under development but we can finally show you something more about the ability to use the avatar as a sticker:
As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp will automatically create your own sticker pack based on the configured avatar within WhatsApp Settings so you can finally share your personalized stickers that express who you are with your chats and groups. As additional feature, it will also be possible to use the avatar as profile photo in the future.
Unfortunately, the ability to create an avatar is under development so we don’t know the exact release date: we can just say that it will be released in the future. As always, we will post another article when we have further information to share with you.
