After announcing a disappearing mode in new chat threads, under development on WhatsApp beta for Android, we can show you something more today.
In the article about the disappearing mode, linked above, we have shown a new section inside WhatsApp Privacy Settings, that allows enabling the feature. Today we can show what you can find into that section:
As you can see in this screenshot, you can select the default disappearing messages timer, for new individual chats, including new durations. For example, if you select 24 hours, new chats will automatically have the disappearing message mode enabled with that duration.
