With Adobe® removing Flash Player support in 2020, a vacuum was created when it came to supporting this product. A number of companies still use Flex and Flash-based applications; some are customer-facing, which could create customer satisfaction issues. The exclusive relationship between HARMAN and Adobe®, and the agreements in place, offer Flash customers a longer timeframe for migrating Flash-based applications to HTML/JavaScript solutions.
HARMAN has developed tools to accelerate such migrations from Flex to TypeScript with additional libraries to replicate common Flex components and an output that can be maintained within TypeScript using Angular or React. .
Providing seamless server-side ad insertion capabilities using Adobe® Primetime
HARMAN also supports Primetime Ad Insertion solution, with both a server-side manifest stitching capability and a client-side TVSDK that supports ad insertion and ad beaconing. This solution can be integrated into a wide range of video CDNs and ad servers, bringing intelligent ad decisioning capabilities into live and on-demand video streams.
