Oppo recently launched its two premium mid-range smartphones — Oppo F11 and Oppo F11 Pro. Now, the company is gearing up to launch its flagship smartphone. After Oppo’s VP shared some information about the upcoming device, Oppo has now confirmed that the smartphone will be launched next month, i.e. April 2019.

Previously, Oppo’s Vice President Shen Yiren had said that the upcoming flagship device from the company will have a design different from the previous Oppo smartphones and it will be devoid of any camera bumps.

He had also revealed the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and the most powerful processor so far — Snapdragon 855. In the camera department, the smartphone will come with Oppo’s 10x optical zoom technology, which was showcased by the company at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.

Further, Shen Yiren has also confirmed that the device will be driven by a 4,065mAh battery. While he has not mentioned anything regarding the fast charging support, we expected the smartphone to have a powerful fast-charging technology.

While Oppo has now confirmed that the smartphone will go official next month, the phone’s name still remains unknown. However, there are some rumors making rounds suggesting that the device could be called Oppo Find Z — a successor to the Oppo Find X launched last year.

Even if the smartphone is indeed the Oppo Find X successor, reports related to the smartphone’s design indicate that the phone won’t have a slider mechanism. We expect to see a few more leaked related to the smartphone ahead of its official launch.
