Description

Dirk the Daring was a heroic, if clumsy knight. When Princess Daphne was kidnapped by the dragon, Singe, and taken to his castle, Dirk set out to rescue her. Due to limitations of the computers at the time, this conversion of the coin-op arcade game, Dragon's Lair only features the first half of the game, which consists of entering Singe's Castle and encountering the dragon. The adventures are continued in a second part which completes the conversion of the arcade game.

Dirk the Daring is controlled by the player, who views Dirk's actions on the screen from a third-person visual. The game is reactive and players must press the right controller direction or action button at the right time to have Dirk avoid traps, defeat monsters and otherwise stay alive.

Subject: Long loading
I doubt you can speed up the loading but I will wait then play this then rate the game not the loading.

YEAAAHH !!!! 3 hourssssss to load , core i5 , 16gb and bla bla , Firefox last version , i think is better use a dosbox , real PC or Real Magic version

Subject: Keymappings
The Dosbox key mappings should be published in the description of each game. I pushed all the buttons and nothing seemed to happen except for pressing space and 'q'. The best controls I could find online were numpad 4,8,6,1,and 0.

Subject: Was a CD game
I think I once had this game. It was CD-based for much of it's graphics, being based on the laserdisc arcade game. That's probably why it takes forever to load. Didn't want to waste the time.

Subject: Nothing happening
Running Google Chrome with latest updates. Nothing happens except 'Dos Box' title and the spinning square.

this web page doesn't work tried 4 or 5 different times and different games cant get any of them to even load up
