Wish I bought these years ago no thorn penetration long gloves saving your lower arms I bought men gloves as I like a bit of room but they are snug fit but boy are they the boys for any large or small brambles !!
Having bought the ladies size for myself and having found them to be very practical, comfortable and reliable, I have bought the ladies and gents sizes to give as presents to keen gardeners in my family resulting in much praise for this product. Personally, I would like them to be more water resistant but could try using a waterproofing product; nonetheless I find these gloves to be an excellent product.

Best Buy - Thes gauntlet gloves are very similar to the Dry Touch Gloves but are extended to protect your wrists and forarms. Unlike other gauntlet gloves we tried, the fit was much better around your fingers and the leather supple enough to easily open and close the catch on secateurs while thorns are kept at bay, as with Dry Touch, the gloves initially felt tight around the back of the hand, but the gauntlet was wide enough to fit well over the sleeves of a sweater and waterproof.

Hands are lined with a soft fleece, the wrists are elasticized and the sued cuffs extend to the mid-forearm with a smooth lining and neat trim. Endorced by the RHS. Performance ***** These excellent gloves fit so well. The soft leather gives good dexterity, yet they are surprisingly tough and proved resistant to thorns too. The one feature that really set them apart is the weather-proofing as the leather did not absorb water. Soft both inside and out, they're sure to keep hands warm in winter, but remember they're warm on a hot day too! Value ***** A fine glove. Worth the outlay, particularly if you have lots of prickly plants or nuisance brambles to deal with.
