I just the thong while running. I had been using a jockstrap, but when wearing running tights the jockstrap straps were unsightly. I decided to try a thong, this particular brand had a nice masculine look so I decided to try it. The thong works great, very comfortable, fits as expected. Will likely buy more.
The strings hurt a bit because of the difference from the older Addicted strings where the part connecting the strings and band tapers before the string begins. But otherwise, the style is undoubtedly sexy and flattering.

They fit really well, and improve looks
